A Walk to Remember

Right along the Autumn Streets,

The elder wind parting strands of hair,

The Maple leaf, up above and lingering onto feet,

Hand in Hand as we trod along the winding lanes ,

Smell ,Sight and Sound all in harmony,

A freedom of yonder unknown until,

As we grasp the beauty of deep breath,

And the preciousness of being together

Memories of struggle and snuggle intertwined,

With tears dried and despair deceived,

Our fears and uncertainties put to rest,

Nothing to look back and nobody to ask,

With lips merged and eyes not behind but onto each other,

As we kissed, and kissed and kissed some more,

As we hugged, and hugged and hugged some more,

Smiles spread like persian robes on the marble of togetherness,

The Palace of our dreams finally dawns,

As the rusted lock of treachery and dogma broken free,

The Gates of true desire open,

to the world of the lover, a world of two

that shrugs itself to one as the passion unites,

The weed of blame, the shackles of guilt and doubt,

finally removed, to hear the reed of belief,

play the song of love,

You become me and me , you..

As years of travesty,

decades of patience,

centuries of wait,

ends at the point where our hearts meet, bodies merge, soul entwined ,,

And as I thank the maker for carving you into my heart,

And as I look back, forth and now into your eyes,

All I ever wanted to say was one thing,

And that one thing has always been, now and will be in future,

the only truth between us..

That one thing

is what I have always whispered, said, sung, shouted and conveyed in muted glances and blushed smiles,

And it is this :

I Love you

Before

For now,

Forever.
